I’m on a mission to help patients gain the best from their life by making them feel healthier. I am a qualified GP, a Member of the Royal College of GPs and Member of the British Association of Lifestyle Medicine.

I trained as a medical Doctor at the University of Bristol and on completing my training was awarded the Arthur L Rose Scholarship at the State University of New York before returning to the UK and working as a doctor in the Bristol Royal Infirmary and in other hospitals in the South West. I have previously worked full time in both hospital and community based diabetes services. In addition to my private work I am a partner in a busy NHS GP practice.

Since qualifying as a GP I have also worked as an academic at the Elizabeth Blackwell Institute and Department of Medical Ethics at the University of Bristol, having been granted an award from the Wellcome Trust.

In my personal life I am passionate about living a healthy and active life with my young family. Exercise is important to me and I regularly run, mountain bike and road cycle. When I get time I also love to get into the mountains for a bit of skiing or climbing.
